Note from founders

Hey everyone,We have some unfortunate news about the future of LeaderBird. We were impacted by the recent changes in Twitter's API access policy. We were unable to pull user tweets to track and update the stats of streak totals, relative rankings amongst users etc. We tinkered around to see if we can make the core product still work within our budget but long story short, it's not possible. So, on July 17th, 2023 Zack (our CTO) and I made the difficult decision to shut down LeaderBird.Since this was a sudden interruption, we will be refunding your subscription fee for this month.I still remember the launch day 3.5 months ago on Mar 31, 2023 and the wave of joy I felt after shipping this tweet. Which led to getting the first few customers in the next 24 hours which includes many of you. Thank you for your early belief and vote of confidence on me and Zack. It's an honor! It's a bummer we can't continue on this path but to be honest, we saw the writing on the wall since many major Twitter-based tools started getting affected in the recent weeks. LeaderBird was a memorable experience for us as indie founders and a big lesson is to avoid platform risks whenever possible (building on top of other platforms). Thanks again and we appreciate you being part of special project!Regards,
KP and Zack
